🔄 RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY AURA PERFUMES — Returns and Refunds Policy Last updated: 2025

⚠️ Important Note Perfumes are personal hygiene products and are subject to legal exceptions. Under Article 17(1)(e) of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February, there is no right of withdrawal for sealed products that have been opened after delivery, for reasons of health protection or hygiene.

1. General Rule — Unopened Products If you received a product with its original packaging intact and sealed and you decide not to keep it, you may request a return within 14 days from the date of receipt, provided that all the following conditions are met:

  • The product is in its original packaging, completely closed and sealed
  • The product has not been used, opened or tested
  • The return request was made within the 14-day period
  • The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs
  • The product shows no signs of use, damage or tampering

2. Opened Products — No Right of Return It is not possible to accept returns of perfumes or personal hygiene products that have been opened, used, or whose protective seal has been removed.

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • The bottle has been opened or the security seal has been removed
  • The product has been used, even partially
  • The packaging or bottle shows signs of use
  • The 14-day period after receipt has been exceeded
  • The product was damaged after delivery due to improper use

💡 Recommendation: Before purchasing a full bottle, we strongly recommend trying our samples (5ml and 10ml decants) to get to know the fragrance and avoid disappointments.

3. Defective or Damaged Product If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, damaged during transport, or different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt, providing:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging
  • Description of the issue

After analysis and confirmation, we will proceed with a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs. In this case, the return shipping costs are covered by AURA PERFUMES.

4. Return Process (Eligible Products) Step 1 — Send an email to g.tavares.bo@gmail.com with the subject “Return — Order No. [XXXX]” Step 2 — Wait for confirmation from our team (reply within 48 business hours) Step 3 — After approval, securely package the product and send it to the address provided Step 4 — The refund will be processed within 5 business days after receipt and verification of the product

5. Refunds Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase:

  • Credit/Debit Card: 3 to 5 business days
  • MB Way: up to 3 business days
  • PayPal: 1 to 3 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 2 to 5 business days

Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of defective products or errors on our part.

6. Samples and Decants Samples and decants are single-use test products. They are not eligible for return or exchange, except in cases of proven defects.

7. Undelivered or Lost Orders In case of loss or non-delivery, contact us after the maximum delivery period. We will file a complaint with the carrier and proceed with a reshipment or full refund, according to your preference.
